Crestview motorcyclist seriously injured after overturning vehicle on Interstate 10

A motorcyclist was seriously injured after he lost control of his motorcycle Sunday while attempting to pass a vehicle on Interstate 10. 

The crash happened about 11:23 a.m. on Interstate 10 near State Road 85 in Okaloosa County, according to a report by the Florida Highway Patrol

The motorcyclist, from Crestview, was traveling westbound in the inside lane of Interstate 10 when he changed lanes to pass another vehicle near mile marker 54.

The vehicle he was attempting to pass changed lanes in front of him, causing him to have to re-enter the inside lane. 

The man then lost control of his motorcycle and traveled off the roadway into the median, where the motorcycle overturned and unseated him, FHP reported.
