Okaloosa County School District hosting support professional job fair
NICEVILLE — The Okaloosa County School District will host an Educational Support Professionals Job Fair on Friday.
The district will be hiring for a variety of positions for the 2021-22 school year, including custodians, cleaners, bus mechanics, bus drivers, maintenance techs, substitute teachers, classroom aides and more.
The job fair will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Niceville Central Complex at 202A State Road 85 N. next to Edge Elementary School. There will be signs outside to guide visitors to the event.

In a statement, Okaloosa County Superintendent Marcus Chambers said, "We are always looking for those who want to make a positive difference in the lives of our students. ... The work done by these professionals is critical to the success of our School District.”
Representatives of the district will be on hand to help with the application process, provide information and answer questions.
“I am excited to tap into our local resources," Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources Lee Hale said in a statement. "There are opportunities available in a lot of areas here with the District, and I hope to meet some really great folks with a passion for kids and a great work ethic.”
