Man fatally shot in Fort Walton Beach on Sunday morning; FWB PD searching for information

FORT WALTON BEACH — A 20-year-old man died after being shot multiple times in Fort Walton Beach early Sunday morning, according to city spokesman Doug Rainer.

The man, identified only as Tykeis D. Noland in a city news release, with no address given, was found at approximately 4:10 a.m. Sunday in the area of Eglin Parkway SE at First Street SE, as Fort Walton Beach police responded to a reported shooting.

Noland was transported to Fort Walton Beach Medical Center, where he died from his wounds, according to the news release.

An investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information about the shooting is asked to contact the Fort Walton Beach Police Department at (850) 833-9548.
