Culver's opens new restaurant in FWB area
WRIGHT — Culver’s restaurant held its soft opening Monday on the northwest corner of Green Acres Road and Beal Parkway.
The Sauk City, Wisconsin-based Culver’s is best known for its ButterBurgers, which are hamburgers on butter-toasted buns, and its frozen custard desserts. The restaurant’s menu also includes fish, shrimp, salads and kids’ meals.
The new restaurant is at 206 Green Acres Road. Its owners, Randy and Honey Smith, also own the Culver’s in Navarre and Miramar Beach.
Honey Smith said a steady stream of customers has helped celebrate the soft opening of the new eatery, which temporarily features drive-through service only.
“We’re enjoying it,” she said. “We’re getting a lot of help from (employees of) our other two locations. It’s been going really good. Hopefully within the next week or week-and-a-half we’ll open for walk-in service, and later fully open the dining room."
The new Culver’s has about 45 employees and is looking to add a few more, Smith said.
The business is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
