Whenever Richard Cave visits the Emerald Coast from his hometown of Memphis, he brings a little artistry to the beach.
Last week, he made two classic cars including a 1963 Corvette that he completed before nature and playful children had their way with it.

Before heading home from his week-long vacation to the Destin area, Cave created a sculpture that he’s made multiple times before during his visits, which stretch back to 1980.
"It’s a sea serpent that’s around 20 feet long and flows in and out of the sand," his son, Jon Luke Cave, shared with us in an email.
