The Florida Department of Health issued the April 24, morning coronavirus report.

The total number of cases that were confirmed on Thursday was 1,261. That is the largest number of cases confirmed in the state since April 3.

Navarre and Fort Walton Beach saw more cases confirmed over night.

Long-term care facilities

– Okaloosa County, 27 cases, all at Fort Walton Rehabilitation Center.

– Santa Rosa County has 10 cases living or working in long-term care facilities ( All 10 at Arbors Of Gulf Breeze).

– Walton has 4 (Chautauqua Rehabilitation and Nursing Center)

– Bay County has 2 (Brookdale Panama City Bay and Clifford Chester Sims State Veterans Nursing Home).
