Eglin Air Force Base has issued a noise advisory for planned munitions disposal on Monday.

EGLIN AFB — The 96th Civil Engineer Group’s explosive ordnance disposal flight is scheduled to perform a routine munitions disposal on Range C-62 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, according to a Friday news release from Team Eglin Public Affairs.



Residents in the areas of Mossy Head, Niceville and Defuniak Springs may hear large detonations during this time. Detonation is expected to occur at or between 10 a.m. and noon.


The EOD Flight performs munitions disposals on the Eglin reservation as a safety measure. For more information, call the Team Eglin public affairs office at (850) 882-3931.
