MILTON — An 11-month traffic homicide investigation has led to the arrest of Dustin Riley Broxson, a 28-year-old Milton man.


According to a press release from the Florida Highway Patrol, FHP Cpl. Thomas Paschal investigated the March 1, 2019, death of Nykolas Darrin Parodi, a 21-year-old Gulf Breeze man.

Parodi was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Broxson when Broxson lost control of his vehicle on Interstate 10 in Santa Rosa County.


Parodi was ejected and suffered fatal injuries in the crash, the FHP release said.


Paschal ‘s investigation revealed probable cause to charge Broxson with vehicular homicide and DUI manslaughter.


Broxson was arrested Feb. 5 in Okaloosa County.
