SHALIMAR—A 39-year-old man was arrested on Christmas Day after he allegedly used a hatchet to destroy a bathroom door and attempted to attack family members in a 7th Avenue home.
During a verbal altercation that turned physical, Jason Edward Godwin used a small hatchet and his feet to gain entry into a bathroom where three family members were hiding.
