MIRAMAR, Fla. (AP) — Authorities say an intoxicated driver crashed into the bedroom of a Florida home, narrowly missing a sleeping teen.


Miramar police spokeswoman Tania Ruez says the driver was charged Sunday with driving while intoxicated.


WPLG reports the vehicle came into contact with the teen’s bed. He wasn’t injured.


The driver was arrested, but his name hasn’t been released.


The family boarded up the house and the American Red Cross is assisting them.
