Two guns were recently stolen from a local couple after they left them in their unlocked cars.

LAUREL HILL — Two guns were recently stolen from a local couple after they left them unattended in their unlocked cars.


According to an Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post, the incident remains an active investigation.


The stolen items included a 12-gauge shotgun and a handgun, the post said. The couple’s cars were parked in their driveway.


The Sheriff’s Office also reported that a neighbor said her car was locked and not tampered with.
