FORT WALTON BEACH — A Baker man was arrested Tuesday after fleeing the scene of a crash.
According to city spokesman Doug Rainer, at about 4:30 a.m., officers with the Fort Walton Beach Police Department responded to a traffic crash near Country Club Avenue and Wedgewood Lane.
The driver, who was later identified as 34-year-old Andrew Koski , drove a Chevy Tahoe into a tree and fled the scene.
He was charged with a DUI and leaving the scene of a crash, Rainer added.
“(A) crash report and DUI report is incomplete (as of Tuesday afternoon) as (the crash) occurred at the end of midnight shift,” Rainer wrote in an email.
