EGLIN AFB — State Road 85 and State Road 285 will be closed at various times Tuesday through Thursday to accommodate testing and other needs on the Eglin Air Force Base range complex by the 96th Test Wing.
On Tuesday, both roads will be closed for a 15-minute period sometime between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. to move a target from the western ranges to the eastern ranges.
On Wednesday, the roads will be closed sometime between 8 a.m. and noon, again for no more than 15 minutes, also to accommodate the moving of a target.
Also on Wednesday, SR 285 will be closed between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to accommodate testing on the Eglin range complex. State Road 285 also will be closed from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday for the same reason, according to an announcement from Team Eglin Public Affairs.
