CRESTVIEW — The Florida Department of Transportation will hold a public hearing about the Interstate 10 at County Road 4 (Antioch Road) interchange study.
The hearing begins with an open house 5:30 p.m. March 7 at Warriors Hall, 201 Stillwelll Ave., Crestview. A formal presentation is at 6 p.m. and will be followed by a public comment period.
The I-10 and County Road 4 Justification Report and Project Development and Environment Study hearing gives people a chance to review the results of the study and to provide input on proposed improvements. The study is to provide additional access to I-10 in conjunction with the planned Crestview Bypass, improving accessibility for the surrounding community with consideration of all modes of transportation.
Maps, drawings, and other information will be on display. FDOT representatives will be available to discuss proposed improvements, answer questions, and receive comments. Draft environmental documents are available for public review on the project website (nwflroads.com) and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays until March 18 at Crestview City Hall, 198 Wilson St. N.
Persons wishing to submit written statements, in place of or in addition to oral statements, may do so at the hearing, by mail addressed to Martha Hodgson, FDOT Project Manager, 1074 Highway 90, Chipley, Florida 32428, or via e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org. All information postmarked no later than March 18 will become part of the public hearing record.
