CRESTVIEW — Police have arrested a second suspect in a March 17 home invasion and shooting.

According to the Crestview Police Department, the shooting started when two individuals kicked in the door of a home on Virginia Street in the early morning and demanded money and marijuana. A 19-year-old woman celebrating her birthday at her mother's house with a friend was shot in the thigh as she discharged a Taser-like weapon at the two intruders.

Jalen Zyquez Mount, 14, was arrested April 5 after being identified in a photo lineup by the victim's friend, who saw the incident. He faces a felony charge of home invasion robbery.

The other alleged intruder, Tristen Stewart, 15, was arrested March 29.

Zyquez and Stewart were taken the state Department of Juvenile Justice detention centersouth of Crestview. No photo of Mount is currently available from the Crestview Police Department. The investigation is ongoing and more arrests are possible.
