BAKER — A Marianna man was arrested Tuesday, more than six months after he was accused of scooping a 15-year-old girl out of a car "bridal style" and then forcing himself on her.

The girl and her friends were swimming off the Peadon River Bridge in Baker in May when the incident occurred.

James Ryan Knudsen, who is 28, has been charged with sexual battery on a victim older than 12.

The victim and her friends told Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office deputies that Knudsen came up to them and they began to talk and joke with him. Both the victim and her friend took pictures with Knudsen, according to his arrest report.

When he was alone with the victim, he removed her from the truck she was sitting in and pinned her against one of the doors, so that she was facing away from him. He then pulled off her bathing suit and forced himself on her, even though she told him no repeatedly.

When it was over, he slapped her on her bottom and told her, "Good game."

The victim and three of her friends picked him out of a photo lineup.

Knudsen refused to be interviewed, according to his arrest report.
