U.S. Rep. District 1 - Matt Gaetz leads with 31% of the vote, but Greg Evers has narrowed the gap with 26% of the vote.

State Senate - Broxson leads Hill 59% to 41% of the vote.

Sheriff - Bob Johnson leads with 56% of the vote.

Tax Collector - Stan Nichols leads with 82% of the vote.

- Marco Rubio is the winner in the U.S. Senate race. He earned 73% of the vote.

- Patrick Murphy is the Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate. His vote total percentage is 45%.

- Matt Gaetz has won the District 1 U.S. Rep. race (apparently) with 42% of the vote.

- For State Rep. District 5, Brad Drake is the winner with 74% of the vote.

7:43 p.m. 34 of 52 precincts in Okaloosa County have reported. Here are the highlights:

- Marco Rubio holds a commanding lead in his U.S. Senate and will likely win. He has just over 77% of the vote.

- In the U.S. Rep. District 1 race, Matt Gaetz leads Greg Evers 10,067 to 4,872 votes.

- In the District 1 State Senate race, Doug Broxson leads Mike Hill 1,027 to 649 votes.

- In the State Rep. District 4 race, Mel Ponder holds a slim lead over Jonathan Michael Tallman, 5,195 or 4,802.

- In the Sheriff's race, Larry Ashley is the likely winner, 23,643 to 7,236 over Brian Cokonougher.

- For Property Appraiser, Mack Busbee leads 12,753 to 8,836 for Janet Fugate.

- For school superintendent, Mary Beth Jackson leads Marline Van Dyke, 17,580 and 12,625.

- Graham Fontain lead the Commission District 1 race with 9,914 votes compared to 6,714 for James Walker.

- School Board District 2, Dewey Destin leads Mark Williams 15,141 to 13,322.
