What’s going on with you musically right now?
I just got back from Nashville wrapping up production on a full album of original music. I am super excited to release that in May 2020. I also recently wrote an inspirational children’s book that will release in April 2020.
What are your general thoughts about the coronavirus? Confusion! No one really knows what’s up with it. I just wish some people weren’t going crazy, but I also wish others weren’t blowing it off. Let’s just all be smart and responsible. I’m always a germaphobe so I already had a decent stock of sanitizer etc. I just don’t understand why everyone bought up all the toilet paper.
What event/activity are you most sad was canceled because of the coronavirus?
All of it. I hate it for the people looking forward to the concerts, vacations and events, but also the employees who will be affected. We were supposed to go to Orlando at the beginning of April. I hope it doesn’t get canceled, but it’s not looking good.
Will you work at a job over the next couple of weeks? If so, where?
I have had several gigs canceled.
If you plan to self-quarantine, what TV/movies will you watch and why? Books?
My kids homeschool so that will continue as usual. We have been in the middle of rewatching the Marvel movies so I would imagine it’ll be a lot of Avengers.
What music do you recommend right now?
I am such a nerd and obsessed with business podcasts, but for music I have been listening to a lot of Lewis Capaldi, Caylee Hammock and Ingrid Andress lately.
How would you describe your self-quarantine fashion aesthetic?
Jeans and boots outside with the horses and kids or PJs as much as possible.
What other unique plans do you have as you self-quarantine? We live in the country. My son asked if horses can get the coronavirus. As far as we know they can’t, so as long as we don’t have to give that up everyone will happily quarantine.
Do you have an uplifting motto or mantra?
Psalm 91 over everybody.
