Panda Express opened its Crestview location on Saturday, Nov. 23.
CRESTVIEW — The long awaited Panda Express is finally open in Crestview.
The restaurant opened Nov. 23 and will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony Dec. 6. The restaurant is located at the intersection of Hugo Lane and South Ferdon Boulevard next to Zaxby’s.
Patrons can order any of the restaurant’s American-Chinese dishes by dining in or using the restaurant’s drive-thru. Some of the dishes offered include orange chicken, chow mein, vegetable spring rolls and chicken pot stickers.

According to the store’s general manager, Bhing Jones, the original flavors set the restaurant apart from others in the area.
“Our food is fresh,” Jones said. “All of the ingredients from the sauces to the spices are all made daily.”
Menu items are shown through a glass buffer to allow customers the chance to examine the food before they choose their entree and side.

As customers sit down to eat, the glass windows that surround around the front and side of the building allows for sunlight to shine in as customers eat and listen to soft music over the speakers.
“We want to make sure that we take care of the customers,” Jones said. “Also we take care of the ambiance. The restaurant itself is not on focused only on the food quality.”
