CRESTVIEW — A Crestview High School Guidance Department program will offer students and their parents valuable post-high-school career and college information.

Thursday's “Where Do I Go From Here?” recognizes that not all high school graduates will be college-bound, guidance counselor Stephanie Sanders said.

Presentations include “Keys to Financial Aid,” presented by Reyonna Parrish from the Department of Education Office of Student Financial Assistance. She will discuss education costs, types of financial aid, financial aid application timelines, budgeting for college and the Bright Future scholarship program, Sanders said.

Additionally, Donna Bostwick from the Florida State University Office of Admission will present “Road to Your Future.” Her topics include college admissions trends, career readiness, making oneself marketable, four keys to college readiness, and college and career planning.

A college and career fair featuring representatives of the military, regional colleges and universities, job placement services, and career and technical services will run throughout the evening.

CHS Athletics Director Tim Hatten will discuss NCAA athletics and sports scholarship opportunities during the event.
