Baker has good showing at regional meet
The Baker School gym was filled with some of the strongest young men in the state of Florida on Saturday. A total of 266 lifters from 27 schools were on hand to take part in the Region 1-1A championship.
Florida High and Maclay had the furthest trips coming 160 miles from Tallahassee. Port St. Joe made the 140-mile trip to Okaloosa County.

From 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on most Fridays, dozens of families from Crestview, DeFuniak Springs, Milton and parts of Alabama drive to the Project Hope Florida site in North Okaloosa County to receive an abundance of free food.
