BAKER — Alan Weidenhammer was a one-man wrecking crew for the Baker School baseball team Monday evening.

Weidenhammer went 4-for-4 with three doubles, two runs scored and two runs batted in as the Gators beat Dominion Christian (Ga.) 10-2.

"The kids all did a good job," Baker coach Scott Johnson said. "They all stepped up and did a good job. "They played with some enthusiasm and the swung the bats.

"They started out and they really weren't in it the first inning and we had an opportunity to kind of mess it up, but we held them there. And then we came back and we swung the bat and put some pressure on them defensively."

The Knights scored an unearned run off Baker starting pitcher Jake Rainey in the top of the first inning and another run in the seventh inning off Gator relief pitcher Dylan Josey.

It was all Baker between the to Dominion scores.
