Watson, Bulldogs getting to know each other

Watson wasn't quite as generous, but he still gave an above-average grade.

"I'm never satisfied, but from where we started June 10, or whatever the date was, to right now, I'd say the grade was probably a B," Watson said. "And I would say that is a good spot ... we don't want to be higher than that right now because I think we have a lot of room to improve.

"But these guys have learned a third offense in three years and I'm throwing all kinds of stuff at them; a new offense, a new defense. They have worked hard and they have really responded mentally. Basketball is a game, I think, that you have to be able to play a little bit mentally, too, so they've tried very hard."
