Tigers pour it on Gators

The Tigers put the game away with a 17-0 run to open the second quarter. Amanda Paschal, who had a game-high 30 points, scored 10 points in the second quarter. Baker's only points game on a Booker basket.

Lily Phillips scored Baker's only basket in the third quarter as the Tigers continued to pour it on and outscored Baker 17-2 to move in front 54-13.

Booker, who led the Gators with nine points, hit a 3-point basket with 3:27 left in the fourth quarter. Rachele Rogers hit a free throw with a minute left in the game for the final Baker points.

Up by 40 the Tigers showed no mercy in the final stanza as they continued to press the Gators until the final buzzer.

"I felt like we did a good job with what we had," Kerrell said. "We are hurt, we're sick and it's just the whole gamut of things.

"The girls I do have in there, a lot of them are playing with injuries."
