Baker’s pressure defense was at its best in the second period as the Gators (4-12) took the Royals out of their offensive rhythm.

The Gators kept things close, through, end of the third period thanks to strong scoring by Black and Booker.

Baker trailed 37-26 at the start of the fourth quarter. But the Royals put the game away by outscoring Baker 18-2 in the quarter.

Black led the Gators in scoring with 10 points. Rogers had seven points, Phillips six points and Booker five points.
