CRESTVIEW — Brittany Pase had 17 kills and Jasmine Middleton recorded a double-double with 12 kills and 12 blocks to lead the Crestview High School volleyball team to a four set win over Milton on Tuesday.

The set scores were 25-17, 25-17, 24-26, 25-12.

Bulldog coach Kathy Combest was pleased with the way the Bulldogs started and finished the match.

"I like what we did in the first and fourth games," she said. "I didn't really like what we did in the second or third game. But I like what we did in the last game a lot coming back and getting refocused.

"Sometimes you do that when you win two, that's just volleyball mentality (to let down in the third set), and you've seen it a thousand times."

Crestview (9-2) jumped to a quick 11-3 lead in the first set and was never seriously threatened by the Panthers.

Freshman Kierra Potts had two early kills to help spark the Bulldog run and seniors Pase and Middleton also helped patrol and control things at the net for Crestview.
