• Future looks bright for Crestview softball team

    NICEVILLE — Crestview High School’s softball team’s season came to an end Wednesday with a disappointing 9-0 loss to Tate in the District-7A softball tournament. But by all accounts the season was a success under the direction of first-year coach Holly Gibson. Crestview finished the year with a 12-12 record. Bulldog batters were baffled by Aggie senior pitcher Tori Perkins. Perkins threw a no-hitter while walking just two Crestview batters as Tate rolled to a 9-0 win. READ MORE

Eagle center fielder Chase Outzen came to bat in the top of the seventh inning with two outs and Tyler Head on first base.
