Gators take on Franklin County for Homecoming 2013

"I haven't matched up with those guys in a long time," he said. "The head coach at Franklin County is actually a guy that was the defensive coordinator at Bozeman last year, Aaron York. Bozeman got the better of us last year.

"He's trying to take a struggling program and build them up. Hopefully, we will do what we do and be successful. A lot of times, a new coach in a program that hasn't got to our strength levels has trouble defending us, and I hope that's the case Friday night."

Franklin County will set up a lot like Baker on both sides of the ball, Brunson said. The Seahawks run a 5-2 defense and a variation of a tight end, wing offense that uses the option play.

"We work on defending other people and what they do offensively," he said. "The key to what we do and our success on offense is pad level, punch and feet (moving to drive the opponent) after contact.

"They had better have their pads down and play good technique or they are not going to stop us."

Brunson hopes to see a big turnout to celebrate Homecoming.

"We are proud to be where we are at 7-0," he said. "Every team (wants to be undefeated) when you start off season camp in January and through spring training, summer workouts and (get) back at it in the fall — and we've accomplished everything that we set out to do to this point.
