Gators take on Franklin County for Homecoming 2013

BAKER — The formula for a perfect homecoming football game has several key ingredients.

The first would be a crisp fall Friday night. You then add a stadium filled with alumni and fans. Sprinkle in a few floats, a radiant queen and her court surrounded by gushing parents and the formula is almost complete.

The final ingredient is an outmanned opponent. Franklin County High School will be that opponent for Baker School on Friday as the Gators celebrate Homecoming 2013.

The game is set for 7 p.m. at Doug Griffith Memorial Stadium.

Baker heads into Homecoming riding a 7-0 record. Only once, in last week's 21-13 win over Jay, have the Gators failed to score less than 35 points.

The Seahawks (0-7) are coming off a 50-0 loss to West Gadsden. They have allowed 359 points while only having scored 33 points all season.

Baker Coach Matt Brunson is trying not to look too far past the Seahawks.
