BAKER — On paper, Baker School's football game with Holmes County should heavily favor the Gators.

Baker, 2-0, is coming off a 35-21 win over Sneads and has scored 77 points in the two wins.

Gator quarterback Jon Beck teamed up with tight end Kodi Nixon for a pair of touchdown passes in the win over Sneads. Austin Martin returned a Pirate fumble 60 yards for a touchdown. And senior tailbacks Richard Stroheker and D.J. Thomas each scored on a short run.

The Blue Devils limp into Friday's 7 p.m. game at Doug Griffith Memorial Stadium with an 0-2 record. Adding insult to injury, they have been outscored 82-0 in the two losses.

Not only is Baker averaging 38.5 points a game, the Gator offense is averaging 419.5 total yards a game.

Thomas is leading the charge having already rushed for 449 yards and five touchdowns. Beck, who is only a sophomore, has thrown four touchdown passes in the two games.

Baker coach Matt Brunson is pleased with the play of the Gators in Friday's win
