CRESTVIEW — Seth Thomason scored on a walk-off single by Austin Armstrong in the bottom of the 10th inning as Crestview High School beat Lexington (Ky.) Christian Academy 4-3 Friday night.

"It was a fastball right down the middle, and I was looking for it," Armstrong said of his game-winning hit.

As has been the case numerous times this season, the Bulldogs (17-4) fell behind early and rallied late, taking another come-from-behind win.

"We've been playing well and I'm proud of these guys," Bulldog coach Tim Gillis said. "They keep fighting and keep rallying until the end. We were down three in the fifth and we got one each inning to tie it up.

"We swung the bats well all night, but we hit some balls right at them. Early in the game, things didn't go our way, but these guys are resilient. What a win."

The Eagles scored a run in the first, third and fifth innings, taking a 3-0 lead over Crestview and Bulldog starting pitcher Davis Champion.
