The problem seemed to arise when the official scorer's view was blocked on a second quarter basket by Ware. The scoring error was corrected after the game.

Crestview led 39-24 at the half and maintained a double-digit lead throughout the final two quarters.

Milton did go on a 6-0 run with less than two minutes left in the game, cutting Crestview's lead to 11 points with 51 seconds left in the game.

Baylark closed out the Bulldog win with four free throws in the fourth quarter's final 33 seconds.

Part of the Bulldog letdown in the third quarter might have been related to Ware being in foul trouble, but Watson didn't see that as an excuse for Crestview's inability to put the game away.

Bulldog Coach Greg Watson agreed that his team showed signs of complacency when playing with a big lead.

"That (Ware's foul trouble) probably hurt us because he was playing well and getting a lot of rebounds," Watson said. "But our other guys have got to step up.
