Bulldogs at their best against Hoboes

The Bulldogs (17-4) simply had too much fire power for the Hoboes (15-6).

Crestview took the early lead on baskets by Denzel Ware and Jerry Aaron. Laurel Hill answered with buckets by Lane Strickland and Max Smith.

The score was tied at 4-4 three minutes into the game. When the first quarter ended five minutes later, Crestview was up 18-7 and well on the way to the win.

Baylark's first basket of the game with 4:38 left in the first quarter put the Bulldogs up for good.

Baylark scored eight of his game-high 25 points in the first quarter. Aaron added six points as the Bulldogs stretched the lead to 18-4.

A long Chris Saylor 3-pointer at the horn for Laurel Hill closed Crestview's lead to 18-7.

Scored continued to be hard to come by for the Hoboes in the second quarter as Tee Calloway scored four of the eight Hobo points in the period.
