Baker volleyball makes short work of Escambia

A kill by Miranda Whatmough capped Baker’s early run.

Escambia never got closer than four points the rest of the first set.

The final two sets were more of the same.

Baker jumped in front 5-0 in the second set and cruised to the easy win. In the third set Baker scored the first 11 points and was never challenged.

Whatmough powered the Baker offense with 11 kills and four aces. Linzy had eight digs to go along with three aces and two kills. Alex Roy also had eight digs and one kill.

Lena Daoud dished out 15 assists. Hana Wadsworth had four kills, two aces, a block and a dig.
