Anderson signs with William Carey

Anderson’s athletic ability, height and ability to take instruction will make her a key addition to the team, Young said.

"I love the fact that I can put her anywhere (on the court) and she is going to be productive," she said.

Young's presence on the team's coaching staff should aid Anderson's transition from high school to college, Wagner said.

"The toughest thing to do is to go off and be away from your family," Wagner said. "I think it’s going to be great to have a former Baker graduate in Kendria Young being there to help her move along."
