Evening soccer camp
The Crestview Parks and Recreation Department will be conducting an evening soccer camp July 28 to Aug. 1 at Twin Hills Park.
The camp is open for children ages 4-14. It will be led by veteran coach James McDermott.
Coat of the camp is $20. Pre-registration by Thursday is required.
Campers should bring their own soccer ball.
Crestview football season tickets
Reserved seating for the 2008 Crestview High football season goes on sale Aug. 1 to existing ticket holders. Tickets are $35 and will be sold daily at the CHS main office from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Any remaining seats will be made available to the general public Aug. 8.
BAYA football and cheer camp
Baker Area Youth Association football and cheerleading camp starts July 28 at 6 p.m. at the Baker Area Youth Association facility at 1420 Charlie Day Road in Baker. The camp is Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Camp is for ages 6-12. Camp cost is $7. Youths also can sign up for the 2008 football and cheer seasons at the BAYA. Cost for the season is $85.
Foxwood Florida Lowball tournament
A Florida Lowball tournament will be held Aug. 1 at Foxwood Country Club. Registration is at 11 a.m. The tournament tees off at noon. Cost is $45 ($30 for Foxwood members). Lunch is included. Door prizes will be awarded. Four-person teams. Pre-register at Richbourg Middle School. For details, call 689-7229.
Crestview Lions golf tournament
The Crestview Lions Club Charity Golf Tournament is Saturday at Foxwood Country Club. Proceeds will help local residents receive needed eyeglasses and eye examinations. Cost is $50 ($40 for Foxwood members). Registration is at 7:30 a.m. Shotgun start at 8:30 a.m. Lunch provided by Uncle Bill’s Family Restaurant. Hole sponsorships are available. Baker JV
Players grades 7-9 interested in playing on the Baker junior varsity football team are encouraged to join the Gators in their morning workouts.
Workouts are from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Baker School.

CAYA football and cheerleading
CAYA football and cheerleading registration will continue each Saturday until all divisions are filled.

12U baseball tryouts

DeFuniak Summer Bash softball tournaments.
The Summer Bash will be held July 26 and Aug. 2 at the Gene Hurley Softball Fields in DeFuniak Springs.
The July 26 tournament is an ASA 3-5 home run low bid tournament using any 44 core ball. The entry fee is $150.
The Aug. 2 tournaments are USSA Division One 3-5 home run low bid tournament using core 44 balls and a Division Two tournament five to open home run using a core 47 ball.
Entry fee for each tournament is $150.
