CRESTVIEW — If Shoal River Middle School’s football team repeats as Okaloosa County champions the Mustangs will be able to look back on Thursday’s game against cross town rival Davidson as a strong starting point.In what can only be considered a complete effort Shoal River forced five Panther turnovers turning four into touchdowns on the way to a 40-0 win.

CRESTVIEW — The name of Army Sgt. 1st Class William "Kelly" Lacey, an Okaloosa County native killed in action in Afghanistan in 2014, soon will be added to the Okaloosa County Veterans Memorial Wall.

Crestview City Councilman Mickey Rytman today tendered a letter of resignation from the City Council to Mayor David Cadle and the council. Rytman stated in the letter that his resignation was effective immediately.
