This is an open letter to our esteemed County Commissioners.
You have received the last vote that I will give you. You are supposed to look out for the best interests of the people you represent. In dealing with the last contract on waste pickup, you dropped the ball. Our rates have increased 30 percent and the service has not improved.
We could have survived with once-a-week pickup, but you decided against this. We still do not have full pickup of materials as every other municipality does. So we just go forth with the same program but at a 30 percent increase in rates.
Thank you ever so much for looking out for your constituents.
