Ruby Marie Watson

Ruby Marie Watson, age 84, of Crestview, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 25, 2010. She was born in Blackman, and was a lifelong resident of the area. She was retired from Alatex. She graduated from Escambia Farms School.

Mrs. Watson was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ray Watson Sr.

Survivors include three children, Iris McLeod and husband Edward, Donald Ray Watson Jr. and Rita Jean Watson (Mark Durflinger); eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 28 in the chapel of Brackney Funeral Service with Rev. Mike McVay officiating. Burial will follow in Cotton Cemetery.

The family received friends Friday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
