2 men on the run after shooting teen in the face

ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Two men are on the run in central Florida after police say they shot a 16-year-old boy in the face.

Orange County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Lt. Paul Hopkins says the teen was walking through an apartment complex late Wednesday when he and the suspects got into an argument. Witnesses told police the two men shot the teen.

Residents from the apartments offered medical help to the injured victim until authorities arrived.

The teen was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center where he was listed Thursday in serious, but stable condition.
