Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. youth awards presented

Tiana Larkins was recently honored and presented with the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Youth Community Service Award (Individual) for her impressive service contributions to her school and local community. Tiana is a mentor, tutor and reading buddy for local elementary students. Tiana attends Crestview High School and is a member of the Minority Council.
The Young Men of Tomorrow (YMT) were recently presented with the  Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Youth Community Service Award (Group). They were recognized for their outstanding service in the schools and local community. They are under the leadership and guidance of the school district's NCLB curriculum specialists Elaine Anderson and Dr. Cheryl Seals, along with their coaches, who include the Rev. Jerry Jones, Jimmy James and Steve Meriweather.
