Woman forgets crack pipe in pocket

CRESTVIEW - A woman was arrested after she forgot a crack pipe was in her pocket.

A police officer pulled the woman over after he recognized her and remembered she didn't have a valid driver's license, according to the arrest report. She asked the officer to let her walk home and she said she'd leave the area for good, but the officer placed her under arrest.

According to the report, the officer asked the woman if she had anything illegal on her and she said she didn't. She asked not to be taken to jail.

Then the officer found a glass pipe with copper mesh at the bottom of her left pocket. She said she "forgot it was in my pocket."

She was arrested for driving with a suspended license and possession of narcotic equipment on June 17.
