Drunken man panhandles while sitting on woman's car

CRESTVIEW -- A man was charged with disorderly intoxication after a woman complained that he had sat on her car, asking for money, and refused to get off, according to his arrest report. She had locked herself in her car out of fear that the man would attack her.

When the Crestview Police Officer arrived, he found a man matching the suspect's description walking along S. Ferdon Boulevard. The officer asked him if he'd been at the address where the incident occurred and he said, 'Yes, take me home or call me a taxi." He also told the officer he had been drinking.

The only identification he had on him was an Alien ID card, which he said wasn't his and the picture did not match.
