Community photo: NEW donates to HOPE Network

Employees of NEW Corp on John Givens Road in Crestview recently held a bake sale. The $125 collected at the sale was presented to the HOPE Network by Tammy Ford, Senior Human Relations Representative. She was assisted by Diane Mamaza, Customer Care Manager.

According to Ford, the proceeds from the bake sale are only a small part of NEW Corp’s employee’s community involvement.

“We anticipate having other fund raisers that will provide HOPE Network with more funds in the future. It is a certainty we will become more involved,” said Ford.

Mamaza said the Crestview facility would be collecting health and beauty items such as toothpaste, wash cloths, towels, and shampoo for those who using the YMCA showering facility.

“We will make this a priority,” said Mamaza.

Mamaza is also a board member of HOPE Network, a local charity that assist the homeless and extreme low income with housing and rental assistance, transportation, food, clothing, and medical needs.
