Suspect: He cheated on me, so I slapped him in the face

A Huntsville, Ala., woman was arrested at a Crestview hotel July 2 and charged with battery after admitting to slapping her husband, according to a Crestview Police Department report.

CPD responded to a 911 call from the hotel room. The husband met with police and said he and his wife had an argument, but "everything was all right now." He said his wife slapped him in the face two times, and that she had been drinking and gone to bed.

The wife was awakened and asked if she slapped her husband.

She said said she did.

"She said (her husband) cheated on her and she was angry," according to the report.
