No Okaloosa County garbage collection Thanksgiving Day

There will be no garbage collection on Thursday, Nov. 26, by Waste Management.  Additionally, Household Hazardous Waste facility, Wright and Baker Transfer stations and the Wright composting facility will be closed.

Garbage collection will resume on the next regularly scheduled day for unincorporated Okaloosa County. Recycling scheduled for Thursday (Thanksgiving Day), will pick up on Saturday, November 28, 2009. 

Okaloosa County offices will be closed Nov. 26 and 27 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
