Woman dies in wreck caused by heart attack

A Milton woman is dead following a Friday night accident caused when she suffered a heart attack, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Helen Blance Connell, age 69, was westbound on Hickory Hammock Road at 7:25 p.m. when she went into cardiac arrest, a trooper’s report states.
The 2003 Buick Connell was driving veered off the road and struck a tree. Connell was transported to Santa Rosa Medical Center with serious injuries.
She “did not survive her injuries,” the report states.
