Man charged with charging on stolen credit card

CRESTVIEW - An investigation conducted by the Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office netted a man who stole a credit card and proceeded to rack up $1,930.69 in fraudulent charges.

The defendant, Michael Christopher Feior, told deputies that he'd borrowed the card with the consent of the victim to pay a few bills. He further stated that he'd accidentally exceeded the credit limit of the card.

When deputies followed up with the cardholder and his wife, they both denied allowing the defendant to use the card, stating they only knew the card was missing when the allegedly fraudulent charges appeared on their credit card statement.

Feior is charged with fraudulent/illegal use of a credit card exceeding $300, and was arrested on the June 19, at roughly 3 a.m. He was released 18 hours after his arrest on $3,500 bond.

This arrest marks the tenth time Feior has been booked into the Okaloosa County Correctional Facility.
