State launching website to match businesses with Florida graduates

TALLAHASSEE — Workforce Florida Inc., the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity and regional workforce boards announced the June launch of, a web portal for work-ready graduates seeking employment.

Job seekers can complete profiles that will assist regional workforce boards in matching qualified candidates with open positions.

Employers interested in hiring college graduates can visit or call the Employ Florida Marketplace hotline, 866-352-2345, to connect with a workforce specialist in their area.

Specialists can assist employers by posting job listings, assembling qualified-candidate lists and answering questions about available training options.

“With Florida’s economy improving, we must retain highly skilled and educated talent to better position businesses, large and small, throughout our state to compete globally,” said Chris Hart IV, president/CEO of Workforce Florida. “Hire Florida Grads underscores the commitment of our nationally recognized workforce system to link Floridians seeking jobs with businesses ready to hire.”
