Arts fest vendors sought
Popula May 22 event highlights county artistry
The Okaloosa Arts Alliance in conjunction with the Friends of the Emerald Coast State Parks will hold its third annual Family Fun Arts Fest on Saturday, May 22, at Henderson Beach State Park. In preparation, the OAA is now accepting vendors and donations for the popular family event’s silent auction.
Events will include performances by local artists and fun activities suitable for the whole family. The silent auction and booths with fine arts, crafts and food will run throughout the day.
More than 1,500 people attended last year’s Arts Fest, which raised both money for local arts and awareness of the diversity of arts in the county.
For more information on donating items for the silent auction or becoming a vendor, contact Amy Baty, OAA executive director, at info@okaloosaarts.org. All proceeds benefit the Okaloosa Arts Alliance, the officially designated non-profit arts agency for Okaloosa County.
The north county committee of the OAA meets monthly at the Crestview Public Library. The next meeting is Tuesday, March 2. All artists, art educators and art lovers are invited. Visit www.okaloosaarts.org to learn more.
